Making RedStar OS 3.0 English

Setting up RedStar OS is somewhat easy but is pretty doable even with little Linux knowledge.

3. Making RedStar OS 3.0 English

After you reboot the computer you will have to log into the root account by clicking the second user profile and typing root into the top field and then your password into the second field and hit enter. You will now be logged into the root account.

Now you will want to open the Terminal the same way you opened the Terminal before. And then you want to execute the following commands

sed -i 's/ko_KP/en_US/g' /etc/sysconfig/i18n

sed -i 's/ko_KP/en_US/g' /usr/share/config/kdeglobals

After doing those two commands you want to reboot the OS and now when you boot back up it will be in English.
