RedStar OS is a Linux Based Operating System developed by the Korea Computer Center in Pyongyang. The Operating System is based around Red Hat Linux and contains a lot of the default packages from Red Hat. But there is a lot to this distro that is added by the KCC. Things such as spyware and "watermarking" to try to surveil on the general public of the DPRK when they are using computers. The OS has undergone a few revisions with the current known version of RedStar being 4.0.
