Inside the Vivitar IPC-113The Vivitar IPC-113 is a cheap IP camera that caught my eye some time ago. A family member had purchased some of these and Vivitar at the time had advertised that they were fairly secure, but one thing had put me at unease. They required a cloud account and a app for them to work. Which bothered me a little bit. I would like to view these cameras over their RTSP stream over VLC or Ojo. The camera itself isn't terrible, having seen it's video quality it's actually a fairly decent camera. But again, the mandatory cloud account and app does not spark joy. So join me, on my chronicle to try to bust open this camera and make it my own so I can view it freely over any RTSP client I so choose!
